General Use & Safety

Sauna Use & Guidelines

We want everyone to enjoy a safe, relaxing, and positive experience. Please follow these guidelines at all times.

General Safety
Hydration: Drink plenty of water before and after your sauna session.
Session length: Sauna works best in cycles. We recommend 5 to 15 minutes in the heat, followed by cooling down before returning.
Glass: No glass is permitted anywhere on site. Please bring a reusable water bottle.
Jewellery: Remove all loose jewellery before entering to avoid burns.
Entrance area: Keep the entrance clear for safe access. This area is not for changing and may be accessed by staff at any time.
Changing: We are a wild sauna and spa. Changing rooms are not provided at all sites, so please arrive ready or be prepared to change outdoors.
Hot surfaces: Do not touch the stove, stove door, flue, sauna rocks, or metalwork. If more wood is needed, speak to your sauna host.
Take care: Surfaces around showers, plunge areas, and paths may be wet or slippery. Walk carefully. Running is not permitted.

Etiquette
Please remove shoes and wash feet before entering.
Always sit on a towel.
Use only the water provided for pouring on the stove (löyly). Pour slowly and always check with others first.
Please vacate the sauna at the end of your session to allow other users to enter.
Photography or video recording is not permitted during communal sessions.

Restrictions
Alcohol and smoking or vaping are not permitted anywhere on site.
Nudity is not permitted. Swimwear must be worn at all times.
Essential oils must not be used without explicit permission.
