Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully prior to booking with us.

If you have any underlying health issues you should always seek medical advice before using a sauna.  

You must not use the sauna if you suffer from high or low blood pressure or any heart or circulatory disorder, if you suffer from epilepsy or diabetes, are pregnant or are prone to dizziness or fainting.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking, customers using the sauna through a half hour community sauna session or a private hire who choose to swim or dip in any body of water near the sauna before, during or after their sauna do so entirely at their own risk.  For any private hire booking the customer making the booking is agreeing that all members of their party are aware of these terms and conditions.

For any booking it is assumed that you have checked and understood the requirements of the activity and that you are aware of what your limits are including how you are feeling on the day.  It is assumed that in turning up your session and by continuing to take part that you are medically fit and able to take part in the session you have signed up for.

Both swimming and sauna should never be undertaken whilst intoxicated.  It is assumed that in arriving for your session you are self certifying as not being intoxicated.  We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove you from a session if our staff member deems that there is a health and safety risk to yourself or others in your taking part in the session.  You will not be reimbursed if this occurs.

We do not allow under 16’s into the sauna without adult supervision.

You should not overstay your welcome in either hot or cold environments.  In the sauna, 15 minutes is a good guide for a maximum amount of time to spend in the heat before getting out and cooling down.  There is a timer in the sauna to allow you to track time.  you should always get out if you are feeling too challenged or woozy.   After a rest, you should recover enough to go back in again.

Please remember to bring a water bottle with you so that you can be hydrated at all times.

Equipment.

For the Sauna.  Bring an appropriate swimming costume, one towel to sit on and one to dry off afterwards.  Bring a water bottle to hydrate.  DON’T wear loose fitting jewellery as it heats up quickly to high temperatures.

Sauna Etiquette:

Remove footwear before stepping foot in the sauna.  

Enter and exit safely and calmly.  Always shut the door again after yourself.

Keep the entrance clear so others can leave if they need to.

Sit on a clean towel

Don’t touch the stove or put water on whilst someone is right next to the stove.

Nudity is not allowed

No smoking, drinking or drug use in the sauna

We’ll give you advice on safe sauna use – please follow that advice in your session.

Loss or damage to property

We cannot take responsibility for loss or damage to any customers property.  

If you are making this booking on behalf of a group it is your responsibility to point other users to this information.
